Need boat gas after hours (or in the winter)?  We found three spots to get it.

From October to April, cold weather imposes the offseasonat Lake of the Ozarks. And as fall turns to winter, many marinas close or operate with reduced hours until the spring.

But not everyone is deterred by the traditional off-season for boating: anglers are out in abundance, and boaters who don’t need to winterize (thanks to the outboard resurgence) still take advantage of the occasional balmy day to enjoy an autumn, mid-winter, or early-spring outing.

For those boaters, the problem is: where do I fuel up?

The options are admittedly limited. Some marinas remain open in the winter, like Point Randall Resort and Station 46, but they operate with limited hours or require you to call ahead for fuel.
