Nestled right off Hwy 5 on five beautiful acres in Laurie, at Lake of the Ozarks, this reimagined motel has transformed into a year-round destination that puts Lake guests at the center. With Adirondack chairs around a fire pit and a unique binzeboon the property, The Lake House Inn offers updated amenities and thoughtful touches, designed with the guestsperfect getaway in mind.

We are the only place on the west side of the Lake open all year round, owner Alex Glenn said. He bought the property with a vision in mind: out with the old and in with the new, while preserving all of the retro elements that gave the motel its charm. I have a standard for all of my properties. My friends and family have to want to stay there,Glenn remarked.

That meant ditching outdated carpet in favor of herringbone vinyl tile, swapping worn surfaces for sleek quartz countertops, and applying fresh coats of paint to every room. Now The Lake House Inn feels like a boutique hotelbut at motel prices.

Guests no longer check in at the front desk. Instead, they walk right up to their room, opening the door with a code specific to their stay. By cutting costs, like front desk staffing, the savings go to guests in the form of competitive rates and a seamless experience. WiFi-enabled locks on each door mean check-in happens with the tap of a phone. Guests can pull in and head straight to the room. Pets are now welcome, too.

The Lake House Inn has always been an awesome location, but now the place is awesome as well,Glenn concluded.
