Trailering the boat? Here are the public access points to launch it from, at the Lake.
Lake of the Ozarks is unique in that a large proportion of boaters keep their boats here, at their dock, year-round. But many boaters — especially anglers — trailer their vessel to the Lake, and that requires finding a spot to launch.
Here’s a handy guide to public boat ramps around the Lake:
Coffman Beach Access
Hours: Daily, 4 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Location: Located at the 2.6 mile marker of the Gravois Arm. Ideal for easy access from Eldon via Route Y, this spot is well-marked and easy to find for a smooth launch.
Gravois Mills Access
Hours: Daily, 4 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Location: On the 10 mile marker of the Gravois Arm. A great location for those in Gravois Mills, this access is just outside the northern city limits.
Shawnee Bend Public Access
Hours: Daily, 4 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Location: Near the 11 mile marker of the Osage Arm, accessed from Route TT. Launch your boat right into the heart of the Osage Arm for an action-packed day on the water.
