Home of the cove-out music festival AquaPalooza, the White Party, and one of the coolest-looking pools and swim-up bars at the Lake, Dog Days Bar and Grill sits on the 19 MM just west of the Grand Glaize bridge. While it’s easily found by land and water, Dog Days instantly transports you to a faraway vacation state-of-mind, even if you are just on your lunch break. The vibe is colorful, fun, and tropical with a feeling that “everyone’s welcome,” including four-legged friends. And with their recent expansions, there is plenty of room for everyone: the kiddos even have their own pool!
While great views are easy to come by at the Lake of the Ozarks, equally stunning menus and experiences aren’t always a guarantee. But when you’re at a beautiful place, you want equally scrumptious food! Enter Dog Days Bar and Grill. From food to drinks to the scene, Dog Days has you covered on yummy, unique Lake food, and fun with a view!
First things first: The sweet potato fries should start and end all meals. Trust me, and then you can Tweet us your apologies for ever doubting (@lakeexpo). Picky eaters don’t often find happiness in a sweet potato fry, and every place does them differently, but the Dog Days version is a 10 on the scale of Um to Yum. Even after your meal is cold and you’ve moved on to dessert, you will stop your server from clearing the table, so you can sneak a few more fries. Whatever you order, it will be made better with the sweet potato fries.
As for Dog Days’ Signature Dishes? There are too many to count, but here are a few to try!
