M5 Contracting owner Thomas McCormack is passionate about his work. The company handles roofing, gutters, and solar services across mid-Missouri.
“We believe in pouring our heart and soul into helping homeowners,” McCormack said. “It’s not just about fixing roofs; it’s about providing peace of mind and making a difference in people’s lives.”
McCormack started with humble beginnings doing general cleanup and shingle tossing as a teenager. Now running his own business, his experience informs how he handles customers’ roofs.

“Being a blue collar entrepreneur has its challenges, but it is also incredibly rewarding,” McCormack said. “The satisfaction of working on roofs and the sense of craftsmanship I experience in this trade are what truly fuel my passion for what I do.”

After losing his business partner in 2020, McCormack temporarily stepped back from his business. But rather than staying discouraged, he embraced the chance to learn, by working for another storm restoration company.
Since then, M5 Contracting has come back stronger than ever, McCormack said.
