The brilliant team behind Marine Fiberglass & Gelcoat truly makes boats shine.

A summer well-spent at the Lake can take its toll on a boat’s hull, with scrapes, scratches, nicks, or worse! Whether it’s fiberglass or gelcoat repair, bottom painting, or buff-and-wax, the team Marine Fiberglass & Gelcoat makes boats at Lake of the Ozarks look good.
John Eaton, owner of Marine Fiberglass & Gelcoat, brings 34 years of experience to the job. After John and his wife, Dale Austin, moved to the Lake in February of 2020, they saw the opportunity to provide fiberglass and gelcoat repairs for boats and jet skis to Lake residents.
Marine Fiberglass & Gelcoat services include:
- Fiberglass repairs
- Gelcoat repairs
- Bottom painting
- Buff and wax
- Pick-up and delivery services
By the spring of 2021, Marine Fiberglass & Gelcoat officially opened shop in Osage Beach and began making waves at the Lake for having the reputation of doing excellent, honest work. Since then, through word of mouth and a presence on Facebook, Marine Fiberglass & Gelcoat has stayed extremely busy. “John is a total perfectionist and very client-oriented. We communicate with customers throughout the process. We want them to know what is going on with their boat at all times,” Dale said.
They’ve seen how doing the right thing and operating with honesty goes a long way. “We had a customer come in asking us how much it would be to gelcoat his entire boat, which would be expensive!” she explained. “John started asking him questions and realized the customer only needed some gelcoat repair and that a buff-and-wax would give the customer the look that he wanted. John makes sure not to do things that customers don’t need.”
Marine Fiberglass & Gelcoat brings customers’ boats to their shop — handling up to 45-foot boats with ease. After finishing repairs, the team delivers the boat or jet ski back to the dock on time, every time. “We have worked with several insurance companies and know how to go about that process,” Dale noted.
“We are boaters so we know how important it is to have the boat out on the water as much as possible. To anybody who has a boat or jet ski, we are all about you,” she added.
