This ingenius device is taking docks by storm. Why? Because it holds everything.

By Annika Bringman

Keeping a dock tidy can be tough.

From fishing poles to life jackets to kayaks, figuring out where to store boating accessories is a perennial challenge. It’s tempting to hang hooks from the dock post, but dock owners are (understandably) reluctant to drill holes in the posts for brackets. Boaters with a community dock or marina slip typically aren’t allowed to drill into the dock structure anyway.

DockBloxx solves these problems, making it easy to store almost anything on the dock.

DockBloxx is a modular mounting surface that is easily attached to a dock post without the need for drilling. The bracket utilizes specially designed clamps capable of holding up to 100 pounds. And DockBloxx’s wide range of attachments are suited for every imaginable scenario. Need a place to set your beverage, place your fishing pole, or hang up your hose? DockBloxx has an attachment for every one of those.

DockBloxx entered the market in the summer of 2020 after two years of development. Brady Bragg, the inventor of DockBloxx, developed the idea after six summers of working at a marina on Lake Lanier, in Georgia. He spent two years developing the product in his spare time, finally finishing the first working prototypes in January 2020. Braggs explained he didn’t want an overly complicated product (who does?) “The entire idea is to keep things as simple as possible,” he said.

Boaters will smile as they shop at DockBloxx.com, thanks to DockBloxx’s humorous attachment names: I Like Big Cups is the ideal cupholder attachment, Wife Saver is the attachment that neatly organizes the life jackets and even hanging plants, and wa’SUP adeptly secures your stand-up paddleboard.

DockBloxx offers custom fabrication options. Have a dock with an oddly shaped post or an awkwardly placed power conduit? No problem! As long as you have the specific dimensions, DockBloxx can create a product to fit. Dreaming of an attachment? DockBloxx can custom-create that too (provided it’s not ridiculously complex!) Given the opportunity, DockBloxx can fit the needs of almost every dock owner.
